Vegas "Qualifier" for VGA-Atlanta Saturday 8/7

I am planning an outing next Sat 8/7 for the players going to Vegas. This is chance for us to get in a practice round and to meet one another.

I want to take this opportunity to make up the team representing Flight B in Vegas.

4 - PERSON TEAM
The 4-Person Team event is open to all. Individuals from any VGA Chapter can play together to square off with any other 4-Person Team. All four players combined two-day scores will be calculated to determine who will be the best 4-Person Team.

Here are some options:
1. top 4 scores represent team 1, next 4 scores represent team 2 and the rest makes team 3
2. top 8 scores make 2 teams and we can balanced the two teams
3. let Bobby pull the name from the air :-)

"Chacon" challenge! Open invitation for Dads vs non-Dads

Open match play challege to guys with no children! You know who you are! These are the guys that play every Saturday and Sunday!

Next outing is 5/22 at Celebrity Golf Club

Under new management, Celebrity is now Heritage again. Heritage has agreed to host our outing with shotgun start at 2pm. Bobby is working with management to move the tee time up earlier.

See y'all in 2 weeks and we'll see who is going to hold the "crystal" for June!

Eric Truong:

Eric is currently playing for his high school in Duluth, GA and VGA-Atlanta youngest member.

Eric is working hard on his game to represent Atlanta this summer at VGA-National.

Age: 15

Handicap: 12

What's in his bag?: R9 TP driver, R9 irons and Scott Cameron putter

Course TBA for May 22nd

Guys, we are unable to get shotgun start in May without 40 players, so we are looking to move up the tee time to 11am.

2 flights in future VGA-Atlanta outings

We are looking to split into 2 flights (A and B).

Flight A (lower handicap - TBD) will play from blue tee
Flight B (higher handicap -TBD) will play from white tee

Prizes for each flight.

Please make suggestion on prizes.
- $50 certificate PGA SuperStore for winner
- Balls
- goodies (towels, divot tool, hat, etc)
